Pesky Blackheads

Some people suffer from acne, but I am not one. I was blessed not to have irritating bumps all over my face, but I unfortunately have problems with blackheads. In high school, I had a black on my nose the size of a skittle (I'm exaggerating, but it was very big and noticeable). It was so deep in the skin that it would hurt if I made an attempt to squeeze it or anything in an effort to remove it. On my visit to the oral surgeon to get my wisdom teeth removed the doctor told me that he would take care of it. Sad part of the story is.. I never asked or mentioned my blackhead at all. That's how big it was, it was irritating to the eye.  Sure enough, once I came to I saw that the pesky blackhead was no more.

Since, I have not had any that have been that big, but I have had a few and they are annoying none the less. In my journey to find ways to remove blackheads, I tried many DIY options that I found on Pinterest.

1. Glue... This was an epic fail. I placed glue all over my nose and nothing. It took forever to dry and once it dried, there was no evidence that it had even touched a blackhead, let alone removed any.

2. Honey and Lemon.... So apparently, you place honey on a lemon and rub it on your nose. Let it sit and wash it off. I got NOTHING!!!
3. Jello powder (no flavor) and milk.  So you're supposed to mix these items together and then place them in the microwave for a short period of time. So I did this and it was tragic. The mix was still hot and it ran down my face. It also took a while to harden and it smelled horrific. Omg, I would not suggest this to anyone.

4.Citrus Pore and Blackhead Mask... I received this item free to try and review. You dampen your face and then apply. Let it sit to harden for 4 to 8 minutes.  It is supposed to shrink your pores and remove blackheads. My blackheads now are so small, I can't really measure if there are actually being removed, but I can see that I am being allowed more exposure and access to get them out my nose. My pores on the other hand are definitely shrinking. This product not only works, but it smells amazing. I have used this on everyone in my household. I love to share things that I find awesome and amazing. Don't just take my word for it, try it out for yourself, and let me know what you think, at https://www.giveawayservice.com/p/a1c7c1c2/c3d2d1b0f1.
